At Nicole Lavin Neurorehab Ltd, we are at the forefront of current, evidence-based practice and have an active commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD). All our therapists continually update their knowledge by attending courses and reviewing current practice.

Continual Professional Development (CPD) group

The ethos of the practice is to highly value CPD and be informed about scientific development in the field of neurology and neurological physiotherapy. We share learning partly through having monthly CPD sessions at the practice. Any other physiotherapist treating patients with neurological problems, who does not have in-house clinical teaching sessions, is very welcome to join us (no fees). Please call for more information.

Sessions include feedback from courses attended, practical workshops and invited speakers.

Student

Neurological Physiotherapy is a highly specialised area of physiotherapy. In order to support local students learn skills within this field the clinic supports their development by offering clinical placement hours. Students may be present at your appointment and your therapist may explain/discuss findings with them to further their knowledge and clinical skills. If you do not wish for a student to be present please advise your named therapist.
