Hannah is a highly specialist Occupational Therapist with 13 years experience in both the NHS and private sector working mainly in neurological rehabilitation. She has extensive experience working with people who have Traumatic and Acquired Brain Injuries, Stroke, Functional Neurological Disorder and Long term and degenerative neurological such conditions including Multiple Sclerosis and Motor Neurone Disease.

As an Occupational Therapist – Hannah is trained in the assessment, treatment and management of both physical, cognitive and perceptual difficulties. Hannah uses a functional approach to assessment and rehabilitation and can also advise on compensatory strategies such as adaptive equipment, technology and specialist seating.

Hannah is able to deliver holistic and personalised goal driven functional rehabilitation. She is expert at delivering vocational rehabilitation working with clients and employers to create and manage return to work, explore reasonable adjustments, complete Job Demands Analysis and Transferable Skills Analysis. Hannah also has extensive experience with upper limb rehabilitation using a variety of methods including, Functional Electrical Stimulation and Constraint Induced Movement Therapy.

Hannah is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapist (RCOT) and the RCOT specialist interest groups for Neurological Practice and Independent Practice. She has post graduate training in Vocational Rehabilitation, Evidence Based Practice in Stroke Care, Functional Capacity Evaluation (Matheson Protocol) and cognitive rehabilitation strategies.
