Caroline O’Brien

Specialist Neuroligical Physiotherapist

Caroline’s clinical background has been predominantly working in the NHS in the area of rehabilitation on neurosurgical wards, high dependency units and ITU. She has gained experience working with patients following head, and, or spinal cord injury, spinal surgery, and those with neurological conditions.

Caroline moved to work with students teaching at the University of Bradford in 2009 where she completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education and her MSc in Rehabilitation studies. Within her University role she was the Practice Placement Lead for students’ clinical education.

Caroline has a passion for Pilates and is a member for the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institutions). She is keen to bring these learned principles into clinical practice to help patients with functional independence, balance, general fitness and well- being.
