Alexandra (Alex) is a highly specialist physiotherapist with extensive experience in Brain Injury (Traumatic and Acquired), Stroke and Spasticity Management., Functional Neurological Disorder, adult movement disorders and postural management. She has experience both within the NHS, Independent sector and medico-legal, complex cases. She provides a holistic approach to many patients with long term neurological conditions including those experiencing neurological pain and chronic regional pain syndrome and has post graduate training/experience in Hydrotherapy.

Alex has a passion for neurological upper limb rehabilitation and has training in Saebo Technology, Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT) and she is also a registered Odstock FES (Functional Electrical Stimulation) clinician.

Alex prides herself in her holistic approach to assessment and treatment, working with her patient and their Carers/family members to achieve the best possible outcome. She works on an evidence-based approach and with her extensive post graduate training can offer a variety of treatment options based on her clinical findings and experience.

Alex is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and of the specialist interest group ACPIN (Association of Chartered Physiotherapists Interested in Neurology).
