Mohammad Waqas

Specialist Physiotherapist – Musculoskeletal and Neurological

Mohammad has a wide range of experience in musculoskeletal therapy, elderly rehabilitation, respiratory physiotherapy, orthopaedic rehabilitation and neurology. He works as a First Contact Practitioner within Primary Care and also within Rugby League. He has post graduate training and experience in Bobath Therapy, Taping, assisted massage, orthopaedic rehabilitation classes, cardiac rehabilitation and Hydrotherapy.

Mohammads main interests within Neuro are within Stroke Rehabilitation, Functional Neurological Disorders (FND) and Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS). Mohammad is keen on working with patients to help achieve personal goals and to help make a positive change post injury/ infection. In addition to English he speaks Urdu and Hindko.

Mohammad is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health and Care Professions Council.
